I live in the Smoky Mtns, lots of twists and turns. I'm getting much better tread life than any other tire I used. I love these tires!

Got 38000 miles out of my set. Pretty low for a 60000 mi. tire. Snow traction was horrible. Won't buy again.

Disapointed....I drive around 50 000 km a year highway and city. I chose these tires last year specifically for the high threadware (600) since I wanted these to last at least 2 summers. I alternate with winter tires, mandatory here in Quebec. After only 1 1/2 summer, they are completely used up. Tire is very slippery on dry which is to be expected for a durable tire but these are slippery AND not durable. On wet though they evacuate water really well. They handle well but do not buy these if you expect a long mileage out of them. I know it contradicts some other reviews but that's my experience with them. I did not try them in snow.

These are actually Ecsta 4X 245/45/ZR18 W100XL tires, not listed as a choice, but have the same tread pattern as the Ecsta LX tires. About 1000 times better than the BF Goodrich tires that they replaced, my wife no longer takes our F350 to work when it has snowed or snow is forecast. Tires are quiet and have been in use for 2000 KMs, thru one snowfall and wet and slush from melting snow (live in Calgary in Canada where Chinooks can give you every condition in a day). Listed treadwear as average as only been on the car for 2000 KM (too soon to say anything about it). Have been driving about 80,000 KMs a year for the last 45 years and these are one of the top tires I have used and reasonably priced.

good all season, high performance tire. good dry handling and feedback, make my forester much sportier (for a forester) but still smooth & quiet ride. good in wet. also quite good in the snow, much better than any other all seasons I've run; however in Calgary and BC mountains, I still run dedicated winters, but with the KU27 I don't change over until end of Dec, whereas w/ other would change in oct/nov. For the price and overall performance, esp in dry, definitely recommend.
