For the majority of light truck and SUV owners, everyday driving is the main use of their vehicle. The integrated design and construction of the Geolandar H/T-S yields true Yokohama style and performance, delivering an excellent ride, great performance and long tread life.

    • Dynamic Spring Control (DSC) technology stiffens the lower sidewall as the tire turns and allows the upper sidewall to flex easily over bumps on the road. Resultü A comfortable ride without sacrificing steering response.
    • Large shoulder blocks provide strength and stiffness for outstanding cornering.
    • Advanced design simulations and compounding material deliver high-mileage durability.
    • Circumferential grooves enhance water evacuation.
    • Cross grooves provide more biting edges for enhanced winter traction.
    • Constant-contact tread block design reduces the low pitch noise caused by compressed air.

Bought these tires for the long tread life that I as suppossed to get out of them. I drive about 15K miles a year, all highway and never off-road. I'm already needing to replace these after only 25k miles. I'm religious with tire rotations and keeping them inflated correctly. I was really disappointed. traction in dry and wet conditions were ok BEFORE the tread wore out. Generally they are a decent tire, just dont last very long.

Awesome highway tire, quiet, tread wear is really good. Horrible in snow, mud, wet off-road conditions. My truck is a mule, hauls alot of firewood and such, sometimes tows, is often off-road. So is not the right tire for me, they were on the truck when I bought it and were in like new condition used them for awhile but had to switch cause they could not do what I needed them to. If I lived in a milder climate rarely went off-road I would buy these in a heartbeat. I bet you could get 80k miles out of these tires. They had about 70% of tread when I took them off.

These tires suck. Bought them new at 38 k miles, and had to replace at 68k miles. The tread wore down way too quick and they were not very good on ice/snow (even with the help of my 4wd). Yokohoma did give me a 51% discount to get new tires though (and even let me pick a different manufacturer)

This is my second set of these tires, and to be honest, I have no idea what some of the unfavorable reviews are about. I see a lot of complaints about bad handling in the snow, or that they do not perform as well as snow-rated tires perform... all season tires are not going to excel in all areas, and certainly nothing near the performance of a specialty tire - like that of a true snow tire. For me, the price is right, the handling is better than most, and if you drive sensible - you'll get the mileage promised by Yokohama.
