Where do we Ship

We ship anywhere is Canada and the U.S.A. (Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico require UPS Expedited shipping. Yukon and Northwest Territories also require special shipping arrangements. E-mail us for details). If you choose to pay for your order with Visa or MasterCard, we must ship the order to the billing address of that credit card.

We can not ship to P.O. boxes as UPS will not ship there, and we do not ship to APO/FPO addresses as we are a Canadian company and do not have access to U.S.P.S.

We ship worldwide. Please refer to our INTERNATIONAL ORDER POLICY.

If you live in the LOWER MAINLAND OF B.C. 1010Tires.com will ship the order to your door. We absolutely do not allow local pick-up or install. If you would like your order to be installed at one of our affiliates, you can contact VOLCO TIRES AND WHEELS. They are a seperate company and will charge you a labour charge to install your products. In this case, the product still must be shipped to your billing address. 1010Tires.com and Volco Tires & Wheels are two seperate entities. Volco Tires & Wheels represent the store level and 1010Tires.com represent the online level. Prices found on 1010Tires.com are exclusive to 1010Tires.com and are not and will not be honoured at Volco Tires & Wheels. Pricing on 1010Tires.com is for shipping purposes only, and reflects the costs of shipping, duties, brokerage, and taxes paid on the items as well as the inherent risk of online ordering. Volco Tires & Wheels pricing reflects the level of customer service in store, the safety and convenience of being able to "touch it and feel it" prior to purchasing, and knowing what you have is correct and sizing is accurate.

Why we can't ship to a separate shipping address

This is for your security to ensure no-one is using your credit card that isn't supposed to be. If someone placed an order with your card, and had the order shipped to their address, you would never know what happened until you got your credit card statement. By having this policy, it protects the legitimate card holders. If you are concerned that you will not be home, this is also not a problem. UPS will try to deliver the order 3 times. If they can not reach you, they will take the order to their nearest depot where you can pick it up at your convenience.

Who do we use to Ship

1010tires.com uses the United Parcel Service (UPS) Standard Ground service for all orders within the United States and Canada. UPS Expedited (U.S.A. bound shipments) and UPS Express Saver (Canadian bound shipments) is also available (restrictions apply)

Shipping Costs

The price of shipping any product from 1010tires.com varies, according to the location of the recipient and the size of the order. Each order's shipping charges are calculated during time of purchase, and prominently displayed before each order is finalized. You can also calculate shipping by adding any products to your shopping cart, entering your postal code or zip code, and then clicking the 'calculate shipping' button.

Shipping Time

We ship by UPS ground (unless specified UPS expedited service) to all US continuous states, provinces as well as territories in Canada.  We are located in Richmond, B.C., Canada.  All shipments crossing the Canada - US border are consolidated with other shipments and are transported to Seattle, WA, where it is individually shipped to each specified destination.
We do offer expedited shipping (U.S. bound orders, 2-3 business days) or Express Saver (Canadian bound orders, 1-2 business days) for an additional cost on single rims or tires, as well as small accessories. This faster shipping IS NOT available on sets of four.

Please check for approximate shipping times from our warehouse to your doorstep.
Remember that is is only transit times and does not include the following:

  • If a product has to be ordered from one of our suppliers, this will add time.
  • If we are extremely busy, it may take extra time for us to package the order before it ships out.
  • If a product is back ordered and not available from the suppliers / manufacturers, we have no control over how long this wait will be

If we do have to order a product in from a supplier and you choose to cancel the order before we ship it to you, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee levied. This is because the products are on the way to us already and we will not be able to return it to the supplier.

Why UPS tracking numbers show Seattle, Wa. and incorrect package total

Most US destined orders of the day are shipped by UPS across the US/Canada  border in a "combined shipment" that lands in Seattle, Wa. From there, each order is redirected to its destination. This is done so our U.S. customers can avoid having to pay charges related to crossing the border such as duties and brokerage.

Packaging

When you are buying wheels only, we try to use the original boxes. If the original boxes are too damaged for use, we will use another box of the appropriate size. We then line the box with an extra layer of cardboard or place a slightly bigger box on the outside to protect the rim inside. The rim itself is also wrapped in a plastic bag, has a cloth cover, or a foam sheet over the face to protect it from cardboard chafing. If you are buying wheels and tires, the tires are mounted on to the rims and high speed balanced. There is a sheet of foam placed over the wheel's face, and then two layers of cardboard. A single layer of cardboard is put on the back of the wheel and the entire assembly is held together with polypropylene strapping. Hardware is sealed in its own small box and securely attached inside one of the wheel / tire assemblies. Tires are shipped as-is, with just the shipping labels attached to them (sometimes strapped together in pairs).

All products that you receive will be packaged on site and secured to prevent any damage during transport. If any such damage occurs please alert 1010tires.com at our support line at 1-888-825-MAGS or through e-mail. We will contact you within 24 hours and advise on a course of action to take with the shipping company.

Receiving Your Order

Check For Damage

When you receive your order, you must thoroughly inspect each piece to make sure there is no damage. We recommend you do this in front of the UPS driver BEFORE you sign for the order. Once you have signed for the order, you are taking responsibility that the order is in good condition. If there is damage, you should refuse delivery and notify us as soon as possible at 1-888-825-MAGS.

For a wheel and tire package, take off the packaging material from each wheel / tire assembly and inspect for damage. For wheels only, you must remove each wheel out of its box and inspect them individually.

Never put a damaged product on your vehicle. Putting damaged product on your vehicle voids any responsibility the freight company may have for the damage. A freight company will deny any claim for damage if the product was installed on the vehicle, or while a shop was installing it.

If you purchased wheels only, it is your responsibility to inspect them for damage before you take them to the shop for installation. We recommend that you do this with the installer to make sure there are no dents, bends or scratches before wheels are mounted on tires. Once they are mounted on tires, we no longer can be held responsible for any damage.

Check for Accuracy

When you receive you order, open all the packages and make sure to check that all pieces are the correct size, color, and any extras (such as installation kit) have been enclosed. If you purchased wheels only, make sure the shop test fits all four wheels before mounting tires on to them. Once a tire is mounted on a rim, it is not returnable. If you have a concern, call 1-888-825-MAGS and let us know.
